REPORT MISSING LAYBUG

  Dear People reading this,

                             

                       Do you have any ideas of how or what i should do about a toy i lost?????My friends really trusted me to keep it here in mexico with me but now she gone. :( I feel really bad all my friends like Iris,Natalie,Sammi,Liberty,Ainsley,Lena,Lillian and many people more.Maybe when i get home they wont be my friends any more....I now I'll at least have one friend his name is Andrew he doesn't even know about laybug(the toy I lost).I hope you guys i can trust wright what you think  i should do plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz plz (please)say what i can do because i feel really bad.

in mexico

 I'm in Mexico now and love it a cat just had kittens,I'm playing with people and having fun being home schooled i also like going on walks with Ivory (our dog) and buying things too.This will be a fun year just a couple of sad things I lost  A thing that my friends trusted me to have and Ivory bit a little boy but not so much that he was bleeding but enough so that it scared him too.And do you guys have any idea what I can do about the thing i lost that my friends trusted me for i feel really bad too.It's name was Laybug.She was really special to me and my friends like Iris,Sammi,Liberty,Natalie and lots of other friends please comment what you think i should do plz plz plz plz plz plz plz help me

At my Opa's house.

I'm at my Opa's house in Tucson, Arizona, and it's really hot here. It's 104 degrees. I can't go into the pool again until four o'clock. Then I will stay in for about an hour! Soon I am going to watch the Olympics with my Opa. BTW, Opa means Grandpa.

It's really fun spending time with my Grandpa and my family. We brought our dog, Ivory and now there's three dogs in this house. Pooka, one of my Opa's dogs, Noodles, another one of my Opa's dogs, and Ivory. Our dog.

Joann is my Grandma, my Oma. Joann is African-American and she plays lots of different instruments like the bagpipes, the organ, the piano, the flute. Opa says she also plays the "gaida", the violin, and the bass fiddle. And the clarinet. And she dances and plays in theatres. She's a guard for the state prison, too. And she's really really funny.

Staying at my aunt's.

Right now we are at my aunt Jenny's house. We just spent two nights here having lots if fun and playing with our cousins. We caught tadpoles, we went swimming at the lake, and we played Wii. Tomwe're going to stay here one more night and then start going to Mexico. I will miss them a lot, but I will get to see my Grandma!

Moving to Mexico

I'm very excited to leave on a trip to Mexico. I can't wait because I am living there for a year in my grandma's house and it will be so exciting and fun! I'm looking forward to going to school in Mexico and being homeschooled in Mexico, and seeing how my mom will react to living in Mexico for a year in her mother in law's house. My mom talks a lot about that.

Paloma and I are bringing all our build-a-bear stuff. It's gonna be fun to play with in the car. The trip is 10 days long driving! It's gonna be really boring.

In Mexico I'm going to try to be a green thumb! That means being really good at taking care of plants. And I'm looking forward to seeing all my pets in Mexico like the turtles, my half-pets the kittens, and my also half pet Vilmochis (bill-mo-cheese) who is a little white dog. And we are bringing our big white dog, Ivory.

I'll be keeping a journal on the road, and I'll keep blogging.

Hi I am Hope and I will be posting new things I made up.They are called Zooby Babies.They are cute little animals that I made up.I will post one every month and talk about them.The fun part is that they don't have names yet,So you comment names for them.I hope you like them.you will see one next month.

Making Candles

A couple of days ago I made candles with my big sister and my little sister, Rowan and Paloma. How to make candles, you have to have wax. You can use shredded crayons as coloring. You can see that I used purple and green.

You have to have a certain kind of string called a wick. Now the wax would have to be in a jar and you put the wick in the jar for a second and pull it out and wait for a while and then do it over and over again. Until it gets really fat.

You can make a different kind of candle by putting a wick in a cup and keep it there with a stick. And then you would pour wax in it. I made mine stripes but you can't really see the stripes. How you make stripes is you pour some wax in and then wait until it dries. Then pour a different color in and wait for a while until it's dried. And it would go on and on until you fill up the whole entire cup.

Later on that night we lit them on our altar and it looked really pretty.

the first dinner I made: cheese and potato bake

My mom bought a new book for me today. It shows me how to cook. Today me and my sister cooked Cheese and Potato Bake. The recipe for cheese and potato bake is below. I love this recipe. I picked this recipe because it looked good and simple, and we have all the right ingredients.

I made this recipe with my sister. First what you have to do is set the oven to 350 farenheit. Then you peel potatoes and put them in a bowl of water. You have to slice an onion. I sliced the onions (finally my mom let me use the knife!). Melt butter in a pan and cook the onion until slightly soft. Grate cheese. Butter a baking dish and spread a layer of potatoes. Then onions. Add salt and pepper and sprinkle with cheese. Continue layering, finishing with potatoes. Beat an egg into cream and pour it over the potatoes, and sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top. Bake for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Then test with a knife to see if they cooked all the way through.

Here is a picture of the potatoes in the oven. It's gonna be goooooood! I thought it was really fun making it! Too bad my Dad can't have it, because he's in Atlanta. He's coming back in about a week. I miss him.
